Cajun Meets Creole / Plate Magazine

During my summer internship at Plate Magazine, I spent a lot of time writing Small Plates and fact-checking articles for our Cajun/Creole issue. All of Plate’s recipes are shot at Chris Cassidy Photography and I was lucky enough to visit the studio for a day of shooting. The food stylists work so hard to make each mouth-watering dish look picture-perfect and they don’t use any fake food. Everything is totally edible. Trust me, I checked Working on this issue made me add New Orleans to the long list of placed I’m dying to visit.
