Northern Europe / Plate Magazine
When Liz asked if I would submit a photo and bio for the contributor’s section of the magazine, I was totally surprised. I feel out of place on the contributor’s page among seasoned chefs and experienced writers. At least I had a good headshot to submit. My article this month was on Northern European breads. Writing it reminded me of all the yummy breads I had during my year in Germany. It’s hard to find anything that comes close here in Chicago, although I do love Floriole‘s bread and Labriola does a good job too.
